Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Systems and Master Data Manager to join our client, a leading logistics and supply chain business, as they embark on an exciting transformation journey with the roll out of SAP S/4HANA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for master data management and driving success within SAP S/4HANA finance systems. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Management: Ensuring a robust process for data management, including associated tables and integrations.
  • Data Integrity: Maintaining the integrity of data structure in accordance with governance principles to ensure optimal system and process performance, minimizing corrective activities.
  • Finance Configuration: The point of contact for Finance configuration or master data following first line triage.
  • Troubleshooting: Actioning trouble shooting and resolving requests allocated by triage first line in accordance with defined service levels.
  • User Access Management: Responsible for the assignment of user access in accordance with the Segregation of Duties policy.
  • Period End Routines: Responsible for the management of period end routines, including batch job scheduling, integrations, and ledger close.
  • Audit and Reporting: Support annual audit and reporting procedures and produce various regular and ad hoc data extractions/reports.
  • Business Improvement: Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance business performance, straight through processing, and efficiency improvements.
  • Upgrade and Testing: Monitor future releases and coordinate adoption, testing, and internal training requirements.

About You

We are looking for a strong self-starter who can work independently and as part of an integrated team. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Professional Accounting Qualification: CA, ACCA, or similar.
  • ERP Platforms and Maintenance: Solid foundation in ERP platforms and maintenance, together with data management/analytics.
  • SAP S/4HANA Experience: Advantageous to have experience with SAP S/4HANA.

What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience, plus a 10% bonus scheme, hybrid working, 25 days annual leave, medical cover, and a pension scheme.
