About the Role

Tameside Council is proud to launch a new Social Work Academy, designed to provide high-quality learning and development for newly qualified social workers. We are seeking an experienced Practice Educator to join our team and support the growth and development of our future workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support undergraduate and postgraduate social workers in their learning and development
  • Provide reflective supervision to social workers and team managers who are aspiring or qualified practice educators
  • Make and maintain excellent links with higher education institutions who utilize the service and the wider Greater Manchester Social Work Academy

About You

We are looking for a qualified social worker and qualified practice educator who is passionate about supporting the learning and development of our future workforce. You will have a strong commitment to providing nurturing support and will be able to make and maintain excellent links with higher education institutions.
