About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Partner to join our growing People Team at BJSS. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting our leadership teams and driving business success through effective people management.

As a People Partner, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR-related matters. You will work closely with our senior leaders to understand business needs and develop solutions to drive employee engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior business leaders to understand business needs and develop solutions to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Coaching and developing the capabilities of our people managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Leading on employee relations cases, including investigations, process, and documentation, and providing expert advice and guidance
  • Facilitating formal meetings and providing support to the Operations team with business-as-usual People processes
  • Developing and implementing HR-related initiatives to drive business success and improve employee experience
  • Providing insightful management information to support effective decision-making
  • Reviewing and advising on changes to People processes to drive efficiency and best practice

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced People Partner who has a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will have:

  • Proven experience working in a similar capacity, independently handling complex employee relations cases in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • CIPD qualification or degree in a relevant subject would be an advantage
  • Highly creative and able to think outside the box when approaching complex people issues
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and the ability to translate this into clear, usable information and actions
  • Highly adaptable and open to change, with a willingness to 'muck in' to get the job done
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, understand needs, and offer considered guidance
  • An enthusiastic team-player, with a self-driven and proactive approach
  • A confident, credible, and approachable manner
