Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and action referrals received from local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our Referrals Manager and Officers, Social Workers, Team Managers, and Senior Management Team to match young people with suitable foster families.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, foster families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work effectively within a team and independently to make decisions and find creative solutions when needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within children's services or a similar field.
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills.
  • Ability to follow regulatory policies and processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
