Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for executing the design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in product development, with a focus on technical improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute design concepts for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with business standards and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical design with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical and thermal.
  • Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements, and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to ensure technical execution and project management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
