Job Summary:

Ritz Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Trade Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Trade Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Branch Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Deliver outstanding customer service that exceeds customer expectations, ensuring all interactions are efficient, courteous, and prompt.
    • Approach customers with a proactive and solution-focused mindset, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Process customer orders and queries with confidence, efficiency, and accuracy, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Product Knowledge and Upselling:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge to effectively match customer needs with suitable products, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Stay up-to-date with product information, features, and benefits to provide informed recommendations and solutions.
  • Process Improvement and Efficiency:
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance customer service, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Display and Visual Merchandising:
    • Create visually appealing and effective displays in the showroom, ensuring all products are clearly coded, priced, and presented in a clean and well-maintained manner.
    • Ensure displays are regularly updated and refreshed to maintain a high level of visual appeal and customer engagement.
  • Customer Communication and Resolution:
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns, resolving issues and enquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager as necessary, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Delegation and Support:
    • Be prepared to deputise effectively in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager, ensuring continuity of service and support to customers.
    • Provide support and guidance to colleagues as needed, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic mathematical skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
