Part-time Finance Director

Join Workingmums as a Part-time Finance Director and take on a challenging role that requires strong financial expertise and leadership skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified finance professional to lead our financial activities and support the business in achieving its goals. As a Part-time Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and expertise to the management team and ensuring financial compliance within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to support business growth and decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS accounting standards
  • Manage the external audit process and provide financial expertise to the Board and SLT
  • Lead the finance team and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure their effectiveness and professional growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board, SLT, and external auditors
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years of experience in a senior finance role
  • Proven experience in managing external audit processes and financial reporting systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel & Word, and summarizing information in report format
