About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team in the UK. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale EPM projects, managing risks, and developing our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement Delivery: Lead programmes and projects of a large size and complexity, overseeing planning, managing, and executing delivery, including client report writing and quality assurance.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, engagement assurance, and commercial risk management, ensuring the Firm's frameworks are implemented effectively.
  • People Development: Lead large teams, identify development needs, and accelerate development, with a focus on managing and mentoring engagement team members, coaching, and skills transfer.
  • Practice Development: Take a leading role in scaling the business and achieving our Mission Statement, including designing and developing thought leadership papers and new methodologies.
  • Business Development: Establish and develop relationships with clients and internally, leading business development activity, including proposal development and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience in multiple industry sectors, including Public sector, Retail, Higher Education, and Financial Services.
  • Experience working with senior client representatives.
  • Experience leading and delivering multiple full life cycle implementations of Oracle EPM Cloud products.
  • Experience with FP&A processes, including Planning, Financial close and consolidation, Reconciliation, Data management, and other Oracle Cloud products.
  • Experience in design and implementation of EPM applications, including EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, DM, and EDMCS.
  • Experience in key finance and accounting processes, including general accounting and corporate consolidation, financial planning and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and Management Reporting.
  • Experience with governance controls, change management, conceptual data modeling, master data management, data standardization, and data quality management.
  • Understanding of key business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of the functional, application, and technical architectural elements of an Oracle Cloud EPM programme.
  • Ability to independently run client workshops to drive design decisions and system demonstrations.
  • Experience in preparing configuration and design documents, including functional specifications and solution design documents.
  • Experience in driving technical deliverables, such as data migration principles and integration design.
  • Experience in operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on-premise.
  • Appreciation of user experience-based design, including personas, user journeys, and how to augment a solution.
Key Skills
  • Eligibility to gain and retain National Security Vetting at the level of Security Check (SC).
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and ability to provide clarity to complex issues.
  • Experience producing project deliverables, including business requirements, functional specs, configuration documents, process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, organisational, and motivational skills.
  • Fast learner with ability to get up-to-speed in a short space of time.
  • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and succinct way in written and verbal communications.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to analyse and use data in decision making.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
