Executive Vice President of Acquisitions

PBR Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Acquisitions to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Investment team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating real estate investment opportunities across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation of Real Estate Investment Opportunities: Conduct thorough analysis of potential investments, including market research, financial modeling, and due diligence.
- Underwriting and Closing Real Estate Investments: Lead the underwriting process, negotiate deals, and close transactions in select European markets.
- Relationship Building and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including owner/operators, developers, investors, brokers, lenders, and other market sources.
- Deal Execution and Management: Oversee the deal execution process, including feasibility studies, financial modeling, and due diligence.
- Team Management and Development: Manage small deal teams, develop junior talent, and ensure the successful execution of transactions.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, sector analysis, and benchmarking studies to inform investment decisions.
- Investment Monitoring and Risk Management: Monitor and manage existing investments, ensuring they align with the company's risk profile.
- Education: MBA or similar university degree.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of relevant real estate investment experience.
- Investment Track Record: Proven investment track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing transactions.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent due diligence, analytical, transaction structuring, and financial skills. Disciplined and rigorous in underwriting and managing investments. Ability to understand investment risks and methods to mitigate them. Astute commercial sense, strong analytical skills, and superior critical thinking. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. Ability to multi-task and focus on delivering results. Comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation and process management skills. A strong sense of energy, drive, and commitment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Language Skills: Fluency in one or more continental European languages in addition to English is preferred.
