Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our residential care team at Harpury House in Bedford. As a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the residential care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation, including Ofsted standards.
- Work closely with the Responsible Individual and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support provided to young people.
Requirements:
- QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children's Home setting in a supervisory role.
- Substantive experience in a Managerial role, including supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislations that set the standards within a Children's Home setting.
- Proven track record with Ofsted.
- Ability to work closely with the Responsible Individual and key stakeholders.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
