Children's Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our BRAND NEW 2 bed children's home in Bedford, providing support to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus an achievable bonus scheme.
Main Responsibilities:- Care Planning: Ensure each young person has a comprehensive care plan that addresses their emotional, care, education, social, therapeutic, and cultural needs.
- Placement Planning: Regularly review and update the placement plan to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
- Key Worker Allocation: Assign a Key Worker to each young person, responsible for implementing their care plan.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective support for our residents.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
- Staffing and Competencies: Ensure staffing levels and competencies meet the requirements of the home and its residents.
- Induction and Development: Provide a comprehensive induction for new staff and ensure each member of staff has a personal development plan.
- Statutory and Procedural Framework: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the statutory and procedural framework for residential care and communicate this to the wider team.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to the wider team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
