About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at SIG plc. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers in the Yorkshire/East Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement account plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain and expand our product offerings to meet customer needs
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor and analyze customer data to inform sales strategies
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in a business-to-business sales role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Experience of selling at Director/MD/Board level
  • Demonstrable ability to achieve budgets and targets
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of operations and sales processes
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good listener and problem solver with a structured approach
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of using a web-based CRM system is desirable
