Job Title: Director of Surveillance

Black Swan Group is seeking a highly skilled Director of Surveillance to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing market activity to identify potential misconduct and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Market Monitoring: Conduct thorough analysis of market activity to detect irregularities and potential manipulation.
  • Investigations: Lead investigations into potential misconduct, including insider trading and other forms of market abuse.
  • Business Support: Provide strategic guidance and support to business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit & Regulatory Support: Collaborate with internal audit and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain reports to stakeholders, including regulators and senior management.
  • Controls Implementation: Design and implement controls to prevent misconduct and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data & Model Support: Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data and models used in market surveillance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market surveillance, compliance, and risk management, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
