The RoleWe are seeking a talented Senior Ecologist to join our north east team. The person in this role will be a confident and competent ecologist and we will encourage professional development in areas that align with their own interests and Tetra Tech's business strategy.
The role will require work with colleagues from across the wider business on multi-disciplinary opportunities and projects. We are looking for a Senior Ecologist who has strong field skills and ambitions to develop their technical skills in line with project requirements.
We encourage our ecologists to lead on projects that align with their technical skillset and expertise and will provide in-house Project Management training and an array of technical training.
The role will involve working closely with clients across a range of sectors, including residential, defense, energy, government services, and transport. We are committed to providing sustainable and resilient solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and feedback to colleagues on project deliverables, drawing on the knowledge of our technical experts to develop the best solutions.
- Work with colleagues from across the wider business on multi-disciplinary opportunities and projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors.
- Contribute to the development of project proposals and bids.
- Participate in the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Chartered Environmentalist or Ecologist status (or working towards).
- Strong field skills and experience in ecology.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
