Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Scientist

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our AGI team, you will be responsible for building industry-leading Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technology with Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.

About the Team

Our team focuses on developing multimodal foundation models for various applications in the speech and audio domain. We collaborate with other teams to achieve state-of-the-art performance in speech technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop neural deep learning methods and machine learning algorithms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products
  • Contribute to the development of speech recognition, machine translation, and natural language processing systems
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
  • Publication history in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in building commercial speech products or government speech projects
  • Professional software development experience
