Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Scientist

We are seeking an exceptional Artificial Intelligence Scientist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Artificial General Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art conversational systems that revolutionize the user experience for millions of Alexa customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with talented scientists and software engineers to design and implement novel algorithms and modeling solutions for conversational assistants.
  • Research and develop innovative techniques for building machine learning models that support the use of external tools and sources of information.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate conversational systems with other Amazon services.
Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Professional software development experience.
