We are currently seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our Financial Shared Services team, ensuring that vendor invoices are authorized, approved, and settled in accordance with corporate policies and established payment terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the approval process for all supplier accounts in alignment with company guidelines.
- Verify all invoices for accuracy, compliance with approved purchase orders, appropriate VAT accounting, and correct coding to cost centers.
- Ensure timely authorization of invoices at the necessary levels.
- Process invoices against purchase orders and confirm that purchase orders are closed in the finance system, investigating and rectifying any discrepancies as needed.
- Guarantee that all payments are executed punctually and adhere to agreed supplier terms.
- Handle returns of goods, pricing inquiries, and credit notes promptly to prevent erroneous payments.
- Resolve supplier inquiries swiftly, keeping suppliers informed about any payment holds.
- Maintain the efficiency of the purchase ledger function during periods of absence.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of supplier statements.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance the purchase-to-pay process.
