Key Responsibilities- Assist the CFO in optimizing and executing financial management processes across the organization.
- Oversee financial operations in collaboration with external accounting teams, focusing on creditor and debtor management, inventory, and invoicing.
- Enhance finance processes and systems, ensuring effective deployment across teams.
- Lead the month-end closing process and support the CFO in generating comprehensive management accounts monthly.
- Coordinate with various departments for month-end reporting and P&L evaluations, introducing a Business Partnering approach.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for the Board and Shareholders.
- Develop and manage the annual budget and mid-year forecasts, working collaboratively to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Monitor daily and weekly cash flow, including reporting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Brand and Sales leaders to drive strategic decisions that influence financial outcomes.
- Conduct financial assessments for new initiatives, including product launches and market entry strategies.
- Support the CFO in identifying cost-saving opportunities within SG&A.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations, working with third-party advisors for timely reporting.
- Oversee the production of annual financial statements in collaboration with external accountants, ensuring timely filing to meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage the monthly consolidation process to deliver timely management accounts to stakeholders.
- Work alongside the CFO and Fund Administrator to meet compliance and regulatory obligations across the Ventures portfolio.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Qualified or finalist chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Comprehensive understanding of finance systems and processes, including bank reconciliations and month-end close.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptable and quick to learn, capable of managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in the beauty and wellness industry is advantageous.
