About the Role

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a skilled Payroll Implementation Advisor to join their team. As a Payroll Implementation Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for payroll customers from their current payroll provider.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Effectively plan and execute customer onboarding projects for payroll in a timely manner.
  2. Data Balancing and Verification: Take a trusted and documented approach to appropriate balancing of all Payroll onboarding data such as static data, cumulative year to date balances and comparisons to previous Full Payment Submission files.
  3. Customer Communication: Explain the onboarding process to the customer through regular project sessions and timely update meetings.
  4. Data Migration and Processing: Ensure that data migration documents are completed correctly and thoroughly checked during the gathering and loading processes.
  5. Parallel Run Processing: Assist with processing of parallel runs and ensuring all run results balance with the new customers previous payroll provider.
  6. Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects at the same time, organising your time to prioritise based on customer and business need.
  7. Confidentiality and Data Protection: Always maintain customer confidentiality.
  8. Customer Education and Support: Educate and guide the customer on both service and system features, remaining clear and concise, always demonstrating excellent customer service.
  9. SLA Adherence: Ensure that the Payroll onboarding SLA is adhered to at all times.
  10. Customer Data Management: Manage customers to supply all data to the Onboarding Team in a timely fashion, in order to meet the agreed go live date.
  11. Key Performance Indicators: Meet all Key Performance Indicators that are set, and document all key reasons for project slippage with transparency of reasons and any additional cost implications.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous customer onboarding experience within a Payroll or Finance related role, with demonstrable experience of Onboarding principles such as data loads, reconciliation, parallel runs and go live authority. An awareness of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations is essential. Previous experience in SaaS platforms and, ideally, an awareness of HR and Payroll systems and how they work is desirable. Light-touch project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven experience in building and maintaining positive client relationships are also required.
