HVAC Design Engineer Job Description

AERIUS Marine is seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and modifying HVAC routed systems and Bills of Material (BOM) within an integrated 3D model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop HVAC systems and BOMs using 3D modeling software.
  • Generate clear and concise 2D outputs from 3D models, adhering to project and company quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with HVAC system designers and other spatial design teams to resolve integration issues and develop solutions.
  • Work with HVAC system owners to interpret data sheets, schematic line diagrams, and equipment BOMs.
  • Read and interpret complex schematic diagrams to integrate HVAC systems.
  • Understand and work with HVAC plant equipment and parts catalogues.
Requirements:
  • Experience in detail design and creating outputs.
  • Ability to work with part catalogues for equipment selection.
  • Proven knowledge using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of naval or commercial shipbuilding.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) and product data management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • HVAC system experience preferred, but other routed system experiences considered.
