We are seeking a skilled Assistant Planner to join our team at Velocity Recruitment, working closely with a leading developer on a high-rise project in East London.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning process, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the project stays on track.

The project involves a multi-phased scheme in Dagenham, consisting of high-rise RC frame apartments, which will deliver 4000 units over 15 years.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting in developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Collaborating with site teams and senior planners.
  • Monitoring progress and reporting on key milestones.
  • Identifying potential delays and proposing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction planning, preferably on high-rise projects, and possess strong organisational and communication skills.

Proficiency in planning software, such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project, is also essential.

This role will be split between 3 days on site and 2 days in the head office in Essex.

A driving license is necessary due to the location of the project.
