We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our client's dynamic team in the transport industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a strong background in transport compliance and route planning, especially for abnormal loads. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure full compliance with Driver's Hours Laws and Tachograph regulations, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Develop and manage daily transport plans, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Assist with the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and handle insurance updates to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
* Act as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
* Provide support in handling incidents, maintaining FORS accreditation, and ensuring overall compliance within the transport department.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar transport planning role.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £36,000 per annum
Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
