Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a Financial Administrator for a valuable opportunity within the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE Financial Administrator

  • Manage all payment instruments and internal receipts efficiently.
  • Address payment system inquiries, process and transmit bank files, reconcile payment systems, and oversee payment schedules.
  • Maintain daily oversight of incoming payments.
  • Administer the routine collection of Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments, Sundry Debtors, and Rents via Direct Debit.
  • Generate reports and data for the Financial Services Unit regarding relevant payment functions.
  • Assist the Finance Team Leader in tracing and identifying payments as necessary.
  • Sustain a general understanding of information related to financial and direct debit administration processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE Financial Administrator

  • Proven experience in finance, particularly in managing direct debits.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with a variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of the procedures, operational functions, and legislative requirements associated with various local government services.
