Our organization, Additional Resources, is a reputable accountancy firm with a rich history of providing exceptional financial services to a diverse clientele.
As a Junior Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements in compliance with FRS102a and FRS105 regulations.
- Development of management accounts to support business decision-making.
- Drafting calculations for corporate taxation.
- Executing bookkeeping duties, which encompass monthly reconciliations and journal entries.
- Supporting clients with payment processing, credit management, and related financial tasks.
- Establishing bank feeds, offering client assistance, and providing training sessions.
- Facilitating client transitions between accounting software platforms, such as from Sage to Xero.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in preparing year-end and management accounts.
- Preferably AAT qualification.
- Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, Sage, and ideally QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with personal tax returns is advantageous.
