Management Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at JD Sports. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or finalist CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant.
- Experience in management accounting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial software and systems, such as Oracle Financials and TM1.
