Job Title: Training Administrator and Delivery Associate

At the Cabinet Office, we are seeking a highly skilled Training Administrator and Delivery Associate to join our team. This is a 7-month contract based in Newcastle.

About the Role

The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and ensures the effective running of government. Our Digital Training Team is responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of excellent digital training services across the Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver and facilitate training workshops, show & tells, and presentations face-to-face and online virtually.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support the Digital Training Team.
  • Work closely with wider Cabinet Office organisations to understand user training requirements and contribute to effective ways of working and training delivery methods.
  • Act as a key link between the Cabinet Office digital training lead and the Digital Training Team, attending meetings and providing feedback and status reports.
  • Update training materials and resources in line with departmental policy.
  • Be proactive in communicating and preparing for meetings and providing analysis and research techniques to explore viable training delivery options.
  • Ensure compliance with the Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Service record management policies.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record in delivering M365 apps training or evidence of using M365 for work for a minimum of 2 years with some training experience.
  • Training delivery experience, including face-to-face and virtual sessions using Google Meet/MS Teams.
  • Training administrative support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively to maintain relationships and collaborate with other teams.
  • Flexible, customer-focused approach and willingness to take the initiative to resolve issues.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record in delivering Google Workspace apps training or evidence of using Google Workspace for work for a minimum of 2 years with some training experience.
  • Experience administering and running working groups, ideally a training working group.
  • Understanding of the training cycle.
