The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical expert within the organization, equipped to tackle complex technical challenges, whether it involves client system issues, specifying new client systems, or selecting optimal technology solutions for both internal and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the most complex support issues, ensuring effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and select new IT, telecommunications, and cybersecurity services, developing processes and training programs for ongoing support and onboarding.
  • Analyze client needs and propose secure technology solutions that address business requirements.
  • Scope and manage technical projects effectively.
  • Engage with clients and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 – including Exchange, SharePoint (Migration and Administration), Power BI, and Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Experience with VOIP systems, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of both Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
  • LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Internet networking maintenance and fault analysis/resolution.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, routers, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and DNS.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Backup management expertise.
  • Familiarity with remote management and monitoring systems (e.g., Kaseya VSA, ConnectWise Automate).

Desirable Knowledge

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure – including scoping and building virtual machines, networking, and security.
  • Familiarity with Apple Mac/macOS.
