PMO Specialist Job Description

Location: Newbury (Hybrid)

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time hours per week – Mon to Fri

We're recruiting for a PMO Specialist to join our Finance Transformation team at Vodafone UK. The successful candidate will provide governance and infrastructure to ensure the management and delivery of significant programmes of change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the PMO & Demand Manager with the running of the Finance PMO, providing the support and collateral required for the seamless execution of projects and programmes.
  • Work closely with the wider Finance departments, Consumer and Business entities, Technology, and other supporting functions to ensure the right level of engagement with Finance and provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders up to and including director level.
  • Support the evolution of Finance Portfolio Support processes and tooling, enabling better control, quality & insight.
  • Identify and drive forward opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in business administration, ideally with a sound understanding of project management and PMO processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with an aptitude for quickly building relationships both within the immediate team and throughout Vodafone.
  • Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
