Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Henderson Kitchen. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting our production team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the production area, including the storage of clean equipment, utensils, and chemicals.
- Accurately record and safely remove all waste, ensuring efficient and responsible disposal.
- Ensure the production area is free from hazards, including slips, trips, and falls, and assist with cleaning up any spillages immediately.
- Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and observe the Company Dress Code to comply with Food Safety Regulations.
- Report any equipment faults or defects to the relevant authorities.
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Awareness of health and safety, including experience with cleaning chemicals.
- A relevant food safety/hygiene certificate or a basic understanding of food safety.
