About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Head of Distribution to join our team at Allianz Trade. As a key member of our Commercial Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Northern Europe specific distribution strategy, focusing on Banks, Brokers, Direct Sales Force, and Digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of a yearly marketing plan that aligns with the Allianz Trade Group strategy.
  2. Execute Distribution elements of the Confidence to be Bold strategy, ensuring the growth of Bank, Digital, and extensions of the current portfolio.
  3. Manage existing distribution channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  4. Develop new distribution channels, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  5. Resolve channel conflicts in favor of Allianz Trade Group, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  6. Coordinate changes to compensation schemes in line with the Allianz Trade Group strategy.
  7. Share best practices, develop sales tools, and provide training to ensure a high-performing team.
  8. Govern all Distribution functions on regional and country levels, ensuring compliance with Group Distribution rules and service model.
  9. Take personal responsibility for the implementation of reporting, including Copernicus, and delivering the overall Commercial Budget.
  10. Interact regularly with top customers and partners in the region, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  11. Contribute to productivity and efficiency topics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  1. Ability to build extensive networks with distribution partners.
  2. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from top management to front-line staff.
  3. Ability to convince in negotiations, driving business growth and securing new partnerships.
  4. Build and motivate local teams, ensuring a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  5. Attract, train, and retain high-potential employees, driving talent development and succession planning.
  6. The ability to build long-term customer relationships in changing business environments, ensuring customer loyalty and retention.
  7. Extensive travel required, with a focus on regional and international business development.
  8. Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
