Role Overview:

As a Night Care Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Clinical Lead/Registered Nurse in delivering exceptional, person-centered care while ensuring the dignity and respect of our residents.
  • Administering medications as required.
  • Leading the night care team to maintain high standards of care.
  • Ensuring that personalized care plans are followed and that each resident receives the attention they deserve.
  • Creating a supportive atmosphere where residents and their families feel secure and valued.
  • Participating in clinical supervisions to foster personal and professional growth.
  • Meeting the medical, physical, social, and emotional needs of residents, involving them in care decisions to enhance their quality of life.
  • Providing daily reports on care activities and any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Monitoring nutrition and dietary needs, reporting any concerns to the Registered Nurse.
  • Encouraging participation in recreational activities to promote mental and physical engagement.
  • Overseeing accurate documentation of care-related tasks.
  • Mentoring and motivating team members to build strong relationships with residents.
  • Contributing to care planning and participating in care reviews.
  • Responding promptly to residents' needs and ensuring effective communication within the team.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new team members and guiding them through their induction process.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and promoting KYN's values in all interactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
