Job Title: Residential Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Team Leader to join our team at a Children's Home in Tiverton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shifts and plan activities to promote the well-being and development of children and young people.
  • Supervise and support Residential Support Workers to ensure the delivery of excellent care and services.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and professional agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children and young people.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements:
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Capacity to implement boundaries and promote positive behavior.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of children and young people.
