About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Residential Team Leader to join our team at a Children's Home in Tiverton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and plan activities to promote the well-being and development of children and young people
  • Supervise staff at Residential Support Worker level and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and professional agencies
  • Contribute to the creation of individual care plans and reports
  • Support children and young people in achieving their personal goals and aspirations
Requirements
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Experience of working with children and young people with disabilities
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
