Health and Safety Manager – Role & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the LER (SG) Ltd team, the Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and updating the company's HSE Policies and Procedures.

The successful candidate will manage a small HSE Team consisting of 2 HSE Advisors, assisting the Production and Engineering Management teams in developing risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring suitable SHE inspection and auditing programmes are established and implemented, including maintenance/follow-up of corrective action databases and tracking of KPI's.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of Site Safety Meetings and other Safety communications.
  • Reviewing, devising, writing, and implementing suitable health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Advising, coaching, and mentoring employees on compliance with their legal health and safety duties.
