Associate Health and Safety Construction Consultant
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Associate Health and Safety Construction Consultant to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership Limited. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for managing a team of consultants delivering CDM Services, including Principal Designer, Principal Designer Advisor, and Client Advisor. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and driving growth in services and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing assistance to the Partner in the management of the consultancy
- Assisting in the completion of PQQ/bid documents to secure new business opportunities
- Visiting sites to work alongside Principal Contractors and their Site Managers, conducting audits and investigating incidents, and reporting findings
- Advising and instructing clients on the use of their health and safety management system, and liaising with Enforcing Authorities as required
- Providing Health and Safety advice and training to clients, and advising on matters of Health and Safety standards and best practice
It is essential that you have existing experience of the above duties, particularly team management and good commercial acumen. Other related Health and Safety vocational related qualifications are beneficial.
Location:This is a home-based/hybrid role, with a connection to our Birmingham office. Projects and clients are based across the Midlands.
Package:We offer a competitive salary of £70k-£80k, plus an excellent benefits package, including car allowance, pension, health insurance, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days. We welcome conversations on flexible and agile working arrangements.
