Job Summary:

As the Head of SHE, you will lead and manage all SHE aspects for the ESD Joint Venture, developing and executing strategies to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a culture of safety, health, and environmental excellence within ESD.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SHE strategy, focusing on continuous improvement and strategic growth.
  • Manage the SHE Management System, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement SHE initiatives and engage with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
  • Lead and develop the SHE team, promoting learning and operational excellence.
  • Own and report on SHE strategy and performance metrics.
  • Drive improvements in SHE practices and mitigate related risks.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver successful SHE strategies.
  • Strong leadership and organizational transformation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Experience:

Previous leadership experience in SHE functions in regulated markets, such as infrastructure or water.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications and memberships.

Management Structure:

Responsible for 4 direct reports and the wider SHE organization.
