Position Overview

The Social Sciences division is in search of a skilled Publisher to manage a portfolio of international journals focused on tourism, hospitality management, and information science. This role is pivotal in fostering growth within our journals, enhancing connections, collaborations, and scholarly output, particularly from underrepresented regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about market trends to identify and assess business opportunities.
  • Utilize market insights and data analysis to formulate a strategic portfolio plan that meets established targets.
  • Oversee organic content growth and manage acquisitions of new titles.
  • Drive innovation in content formats and explore new channels for distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and other publishing professionals to achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Degree or PhD in a Social Sciences discipline is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in publishing or a related field.
  • Exceptional networking and communication skills in English.
  • Able to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
