Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at HSP Valves Group ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial projects, serving as the Single Point of Contact for clients, suppliers, and internal functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of commercial projects, including identifying, planning, and coordinating resources to achieve project deliverables.
- Ensure the overall project budget is maintained and improved where possible, and maintain the agreed project cash flow by ensuring that invoices are issued correctly and on time.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement plans to control and mitigate technical and commercial risks.
- Prepare and present progress reports to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
- Lead the technical aspects of the project, review the contract document and scope of work, and coordinate the various disciplines for the timely submission of all deliverables.
- Apply technical and commercial knowledge to solve problems and optimize outcomes.
- Monitor and expedite suppliers, internal departments, and their deliverables, and handle customer comments and technical/commercial clarifications.
- Participate in project meetings, both in the UK and overseas, and organize and attend inspections and testing with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and support project documentation, including Quality Plans, ITPs, and sub-order schedules, and contract review new purchase orders with the Commercial/Engineering/Operations team.
- Manage the creation and expediting of all purchase order materials for projects, including the coordination of logistical support efforts, transportation efforts, and import/export procedures.
- Log and process customer complaints to close out following company procedure, and ensure QC compliance as required by company procedures and/or specific contract/order requirements.
Requirements:
- Project management qualifications or significant experience.
- Ability to react to change and ensure project activities are realigned following change.
- Relevant work experience in project management or valve and/or actuation packages.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in management information and commercial systems.
