Oxford, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom Oxford University Hospitals Full time

Position Overview

The Corporate Elective Access Team is seeking to appoint a dedicated team of Validation Administrative Specialists. We are in search of organized and driven individuals to join our workforce in this full-time role, which is integral to the services provided across the Oxford University Hospitals Trust.

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be expected to grasp the fundamentals of administrative processes related to patient pathways and possess the capability to review and validate data to ensure pathway precision. We value flexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, as this role involves training staff throughout the Trust on Elective Access standards, in alignment with Government Access Targets and the Trust's Patient Access Policy.

Key Qualifications

Given the data entry and quality assurance focus of this position, attention to detail and accuracy are paramount. The role entails collaboration with various staff members across the Trust to emphasize the significance of precise data recording and to facilitate training on data management. Previous experience in an administrative capacity is essential, and familiarity with Cerner Millennium, along with knowledge of elective access targets, would be advantageous.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday, with hours negotiable between morning and evening. There may be occasional requirements for work outside these hours, including weekends.

About Our Organization

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust stands as one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK, offering a comprehensive array of general and specialized clinical services while serving as a hub for medical education, training, and research.

The Trust encompasses four hospitals, each contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare. Our core values—compassion, respect, learning, delivery, improvement, and excellence—guide our commitment to patient-centered care and the professional relationships we foster with patients, colleagues, and the broader community.
