About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Chef to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and nutrition to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Work closely with our First Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations and provide support in their absence.
  • Manage food stock, budget, and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Coach and supervise kitchen staff to ensure excellent teamwork and customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
  • Have a strong understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and food safety protocols.
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
