About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Chef to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the First Chef in the preparation and presentation of nutritious meals
  • Manage food stock and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Supervise kitchen clean-up and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Provide outstanding support to colleagues and residents alike
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
  • Positive energy and ability to work well in a team
  • Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues
