About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Eden Brown. As a Senior/Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects within your discipline and for overall project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design and technical guidance with a multidisciplinary approach across various projects.
  • Work collaboratively in a joint leadership role within a mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) discipline team.
  • Lead and direct others in producing detailed and performance specifications for the discipline, subject to review by colleagues.
  • Review design programs, ensure adequate resources for project completion, and supervise the completion of detailed designs.
  • Consider project feasibility within the discipline and lead the overall feasibility study.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with UK and European regulations in the discipline.
  • Proficiency in the latest electrical design software packages, including Revit MEP or other 3D design software.
  • Ability to sketch and communicate technical details graphically.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Specific electrical skills, qualifications such as a BEng/Bsc/MEng in an applicable engineering discipline, accreditation from CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council, and working towards I Eng or C Eng status.
