Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. As a key member of the building services engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop initial engineering concepts and deliver detailed designs and specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and investigations to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop engineering solutions and systems within the built environment.
  • Inspect installations to review progress, quality, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary building services or engineering consultancy.
  • Proficiency in software packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech, BIM, Relux, Dialux, and IES.
  • Professional qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Working towards or a Member or Associate of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
  • Strong understanding of electrical building services design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Project leading and client-facing experience is advantageous.
