Role Overview

We seek a passionate Drama Educator to inspire and motivate our students, fostering a love for drama and the performing arts. You will deliver engaging lessons that cultivate students' skills in acting, stagecraft, and critical theatre appreciation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver captivating drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration through practical and theoretical activities.
• Organize and direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama initiatives.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine the drama curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching drama at the secondary level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities.
• Commitment to extracurricular activities and school events.
