We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Site Practitioner to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading private hospital dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children.
About the RoleAs a Paediatric Site Practitioner, you will provide a visible clinical presence around the site, acting as a role model and expert practitioner. You will use your advanced nursing skills to co-ordinate resources and work closely with on-site Duty Managers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to patients and families
- Co-ordinate resources and work with Duty Managers
- Participate in the PICU step-down process and support with bed allocation
- Be part of the Paediatric Hospital at Night Team to ensure a timely and appropriate response to patients' needs
- NMC RN Child registration
- HDU/Critical Care experience
- Paediatric Physical Assessment Skills
- Current APLS/EPALS provider
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Evidence of CPD, e.g. Professional Portfolio
