About the Role

As the Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving business analysis in one of the customer journeys of our business, leading a team of Business Analysts and ensuring we deliver the correct solutions that align with the Digital Product team's expected outcomes. You will be a fundamental part of the wider Business Analysis leadership team, and responsible for mentoring, resourcing, and coaching your team of Business Analysts. You will help implement business strategies alongside managing a team that delivers for our customers, colleagues, and supply chain, alongside delivering the operational and financial targets of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Business Analysts within the Digital Product organisation, coaching your teams to deliver the best solutions that solve our business problems and deliver growth for the organisation.
  • Support the Principal Business Analyst in setting standards and frameworks to deliver best-in-class business analysis.
  • Provide advice, coaching, and support to Business Analysts across our teams.
  • Take the lead in business analysis activity, supporting all phases of delivery from scope definition and planning through to implementation.
  • Work hand in hand with many different internal departments to understand the needs of the business and build a business analysis practice that can deliver for these needs.
  • Work closely with counterparts in digital product management, design, and software engineering to align business analysts into teams to deliver against all the portfolio objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within Agile development teams working with Development, Testers, Data Science, and Product Management Teams.
  • Experience in managing and coaching business analysts.
  • A track record of shipping great products that users love.
  • A good understanding of working closely with Digital Product, UX design, data, and software engineering teams.
  • Strong record of working with the business to deliver commercial objectives through digital products.
  • Be an advocate for change, evangelise product management and business analysis practices, and support product-led culture across the organisation.
