About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Expert to join our team at AESC. As a key member of our Direct Commodities team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global purchase and design teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key commodities and suppliers within the EU region, considering key supply risk factors.
  • Support the EU Direct Purchasing Manager in commercial contracting, with a focus on localization with EU suppliers for new and existing sourcing projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, and drive business performance.
  • Assess and evaluate suppliers to undertake performance reviews and drive improvement activities.
  • Support project purchasing and supply chain teams across the EU to ensure AESC maximizes supply logistics improvements and avoids production delays.
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, as well as SAP.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) is essential, with excellent communication skills to build relationships with global functions and suppliers.
  • Strong industrial awareness and ability to investigate new supply markets to assess existing and new supplier capabilities.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within the EU and occasionally to Asia.
