Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will:

  • steer and mentor teams in strategic testing methodologies and quality engineering
  • guide testers and quality engineers in developing test strategies, planning, and implementing automated test suites to fulfill acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional product assurance
  • oversee quality metrics and enhance quality practices and processes
  • continuously explore new testing and quality engineering technologies, applying them in your role as a subject matter expert
  • evaluate technical, functional, and business requirements, gathering evidence to identify challenges and opportunities that align with strategic business goals
  • engage in the architecture and design review of new features early in the development cycle, influencing decisions to promote quality and testability
  • assess non-functional requirements and lead the design of performance tests, ensuring accurate simulation of real-world scenarios
  • supervise Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) conducted by teams, ensuring systems meet operational standards and are ready for production deployment

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who:

  • have a proven track record in leading testing (both functional and non-functional) across multiple teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • demonstrate expertise in implementing automated testing approaches for Mobile, Web UI, and API, driving quality enhancements
  • are experienced in non-functional testing, including Performance, Accessibility, and Compatibility testing, with proficiency in various testing types, tools, and standards
  • thrive in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment, advocating for and implementing shift-left principles
  • are adept at fostering a quality-driven culture through a collaborative team approach, enhancing capabilities within delivery teams
  • possess a comprehensive understanding of production testing, observability, and real usage monitoring, capable of implementing risk-based testing strategies that ensure system reliability
