Childcare Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursery Manager to join our team at Candidate Source Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of our nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding teaching and care to children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Develop and implement effective business strategies to ensure the sustainability and profitability of the nursery.
- Collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OFSTED inspections and other legal bodies.
- Manage the nursery's operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ level 3 in Early Years (degree preferred).
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
- Valid Safeguarding Lead certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record.
- Experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework.
- Experience of working in partnership with parents.
- General computer literacy and a range of IT skills.
- Experience of OFSTED inspections or other inspections/legal bodies and their requirements within day care on non-domestic premises.
- Understanding and knowledge of the local community.
- Knowledge of child development and meeting children's needs.
