University Guidance Mentor - EdEx Education Recruitment

Q - Are you a distinguished graduate eager to assist students in a prestigious academic environment?

The institution is in search of individuals who are academically accomplished and can provide support to their KS5 students with applications to elite universities, including Oxbridge.

Your responsibilities as a University Guidance Mentor will include aiding students from KS3 to KS4 in their academic pursuits. You will primarily focus on your subject areas but may occasionally assist in other subjects as needed.

Moreover, you will serve as a mentor for A Level students in KS5, conducting bi-weekly sessions to assist them during their free periods with revision strategies. You will play a crucial role in mentoring young individuals, offering essential guidance throughout their university application journey.

University Guidance Mentor - PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must possess a 1:1 or 2:1 degree in relevant subjects from a reputable institution.
  • Strong A Levels & GCSEs across various subjects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of elite universities.
  • Ideal for aspiring educators considering PGCE, QTS, or Schools Direct pathways.
  • Must demonstrate confidence in your knowledge of both GCSE & A Level curricula.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students effectively.
